ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3 SUZUKA JAPAN

HI FOLKS!

LATEST UPDATE ON THE ARRC NEWS. YUZY RACING TEAM HAS COMPLETED ROUND 3 OF ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP, WHICH TOOK PLACE AT SUZUKA, JAPAN - LAST WEEKEND. TOGETHER WITH PARTNER, HONDA RACING VIETNAM, THIS ROUND PROVED TO BE THE MOST CHALLENGING SO FAR FOR THE TEAM.

AFTER AN UNPROMISING QUALIFYING SESSION BY THE RIDERS, RACE TARGET FOR BOTH CATEGORIES WERE READJUSTED TO BE MORE REALISTIC. IN UB150 CATEGORY, HOPE HAS BEEN PUT TO #63 RIDER, AMIRUL TO COMPETE FOR THE TOP POSITION. HOWEVER, THE RACE PACE HAS BEEN MOSTLY DOMINATED BY THE YAMAHAS.  THE VIETNAM #24 RIDER, NAM STILL STRUGGLING TO GET A GOOD RACE MOMENTUM WHILE REPLACEMENT #28 SASI THAREN MADE NO IMPACT. AS FOR THE HIGHLY COMPETITIVE AP250 CATEGORY, #95 THONG DIDN’T CATCH-UP WITH THE RACE PACE DUE THE POOR ‘MILEAGE’ OF THE CBR250RR AND TRACK LAYOUT. OVERALL, IT WAS A CHALLENGING RACE AND DEFINITELY ONE TO FORGET.

GIVI BEING PART OF THE TEAM HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUPPORTIVE NO MATTER WHAT THE RESULT MAY BE. HOPE TO BE MORE SUCCESSFUL IN THE COMING ROUND AT SENTUL CIRCUIT, INDONESIA ON 12-13TH AUGUST.

NOTE TO THE RIDERS, LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES AND TRY TO HAVE A GOOD MOMENTUM FOR THE NEXT RACE. MAKE US PROUD! CIAO!
